Mothers Day is May 12th, what better way to celebrate MOM than with a captured memory!!!

Mommy & Me sessions will be held April 28th at Crump Park in Glen Allen, limited availability!

Yes you can bring Grandma, and Great-Grandma too. :) 

Sessions will be 30 minutes long, includes an 8x10 and 2-5x7's, online gallery to share images with friends and family, a Facebook time line cover. Session price is $110, with a $25 print credit.

I would like to first say thank you all for a wonderful 2013 already. I had contacts for spring mini sessions at the beginning of the year, and it seems like just yesterday, but they will be here NEXT weekend.

These sessions will be April 13th and 14th in the mornings and the evenings. They are open to families, couples, individual, and maternity. Sessions will be 30 minutes long, and will include an 2-5x7's and 16 wallets, an online gallery to share with friends and family, and a Facebook timeline cover.

Sessions will be held at Crump Park!! Price is $110, with a $25 print credit!

Hello ALL!! :) I have had quite a bit of interest in these sessions, which is wonderful!!! :) Since I had Easter minis last weekend, and quite a few folks missed out, I have decided to do these again.

These will be March 16th and 17th in the evenings.

Session includes: 30 minute session, TWO easter backdrops, live bunny to take pictures with, DVD of images, 1-8x10, & 16 wallets. Session price: $100, deposit required to hold time slot. :)

Studio Easter Mini Sessions l March 2nd and 3rd

Easter minis have been set for March 2nd and 3rd in my home studio. I will be getting two new backdrops for these sessions. :) My sister is letting me borrow her super cute, nice, laid back bunny.

Sessions are $100, deposit due at booking; includes: 30 minute session, DVD or thumb drive of images, 8x10, 16 wallets. :)

Wed 2/27: I was able to get some shots of my dogs, Skeatti and Meatball, with the new backdrops that came in last night. These will be used for these sessions this coming weekend, and I have had a lot of questions of what will the new backdrops look like. :)

 This is how Meatball really feels about getting his picture takem. LOL

Switching to thumb drives

For the past three years I have been giving disks with my sessions and weddings. As I am transitioning into a NEW and improved Crystal Reyns Photography, I am changing quite a bit. :) One of these things is to switch over to thumb drives, thanks to my wonderful photog friend Erica Stanley of Hildebrandt Photography.

Switching to thumb drives will allow you as my client to be able to bring back the thumb drive (for a discount off of session) to reload your new images. :) I will still keep all of my edits, but this will get rid of your home filling with disks that can be scratched or broken. Also, these can be used on the ipad where the ipad will not take a disk, and some older computers and laptops will not read DVDs.

I have never done a behind the scenes blog before. As I am entering my forth year of photography, I find it is very important to learn your photographer and who you may be working with. I have had Katelyn on my team for a little over a year, we are a lot alike and there really is never a dull moment. We like to have fun, laugh, give each other stupid looks, dance like fools, and Katelyn is an 'amazing' singer.......JUST KIDDING.

2013 I am dedicating to offer more and better for my clients. :) This is not just for weddings, but also for certain types of sessions like seniors and boudoirs/ pin-ups. :)

A few weekends ago I got to work with the lovely Victoria, that I still want to call Veronica....HORRIBLE right?!?! I don't know why, and I actually really good with names. :P But she was game to help me promote my new SENIOR EXPERIENCE!!!

Victoria fit right in with myself and Katelyn, a little ball of fun that took great direction, and let me tell you she was quite the trooper for the day as it was cold and windy.

Myself and Katelyn always try to take good pictures, but they always end up like the one to your right...hehehe :)
