TWO more days l Louisa, Va Portrait Photographer

Two more days until Deborah finds out if she is having a boy or a girl. I was OVER THE MOON excited when her status popped up in my news feed, as she was waiting 16 more days to find out. I had never used glitter in a session, and I have seen it used many times. I thought 'hmmmmm this will be the perfect opportunity to test this glitter thing out' :) Deborah was all for my ideas, yes I said ideas, now for the others I will not share yet. But I am impressed with the outcome of these!!!

Brantley 8 days new l Louisa, Va Newborn Photographer

 I first met Brantley minutes after he was born, as it was such a GREAT honor to share that moment with mom, dad, and family. He was born on a Monday night, weighing in at 6lbs 7oz. Mom was quite the trooper through the contractions!! We had discussed documenting his birth story before their maternity session, and I was beyond honored, excited, and nervous.

As I arrived the evening of his newborn session, I was so excited to see him again, and Shelley. (And she let me wear sweatpants :) WIN) She was so prepared for his session, GOLD star!! I decided to use natural light instead of studio lighting, and I am in LOVE with it. Brantley was quite the model, and so cooperative with me. We also got to get a few family images in their gorgeous bedroom, and his nursery, and yes Shelley I would love for you to come decorate my house :)

Dawn + Sam l DC Portrait Photographer

This past weekend I got to take a little getaway for my best friend Dawn's birthday. She choose to go to DC, since we both used to live up there, and do some of the things we used to when we lived there, and go site seeing again.

After a fun filled day, full of walking, we had went to the zoo, the Smithsonian, and then around to the monuments. Dawn, and her husband Sam agreed to let me take a few picture of them. They have been married for almost two years and are in need of some picture of them on their walls, and haven't had pictures taken since their wedding. I am glad they let me capture their personality and love through photographs. :)

Mommy & Me sessions will be held April 28th at Crump Park in Glen Allen, limited availability!

Yes you can bring Grandma, and Great-Grandma too. :) 

Sessions will be 30 minutes long, includes an 8x10 and 2-5x7's, online gallery to share images with friends and family, a Facebook time line cover. Session price is $110, with a $25 print credit.

Spring Mini Sessions l April 13th and 14th l Crump Park l Glen Allen, Va Portrait Photographer

I would like to first say thank you all for a wonderful 2013 already. I had contacts for spring mini sessions at the beginning of the year, and it seems like just yesterday, but they will be here NEXT weekend.

These sessions will be April 13th and 14th in the mornings and the evenings. They are open to families, couples, individual, and maternity. Sessions will be 30 minutes long, and will include an 2-5x7's and 16 wallets, an online gallery to share with friends and family, and a Facebook timeline cover.

Sessions will be held at Crump Park!! Price is $110, with a $25 print credit!

A second date for Easter minis, March16th & 17th l Louisa, Va Portrait Photographer

Hello ALL!! :) I have had quite a bit of interest in these sessions, which is wonderful!!! :) Since I had Easter minis last weekend, and quite a few folks missed out, I have decided to do these again.

These will be March 16th and 17th in the evenings.

Session includes: 30 minute session, TWO easter backdrops, live bunny to take pictures with, DVD of images, 1-8x10, & 16 wallets. Session price: $100, deposit required to hold time slot. :)
