2012 Fall Mini Sessions l Louisa, Va Portrait Photographer

I would like to give a big huge thank you to all the families that came out to the fall mini sessions. It was great seeing all of y'all and spending time with everyone. The weekend wasn't too cold and the lighting was PERFECT!! I have a new love for the town of Louisa, and I never thought that would ever happen. LOL
These sessions not only took place in the town of Louisa, but also on UVA campus that morning. :)

I first met Jackie and Cody to go over a wedding contract in the Spring of 2011. Jackie's bridals were at Maymont shortly before their wedding on 7.23.11, to this day her bridals are still my most popular portraits. :) I can't blame my clients for loving them, she is gorgeous, and she was open to everything I had envisioned for her images. :) Jackie and Cody's wedding was hot as all get out, and we all sweated our way through their pictures. Then we had Fall pictures last year where Jackie spoke of wanting another baby, and here we are this year with a beautiful baby girl. And yes she has those Coleman lips, and sass already, I LOVE IT!!!

I met Bethany during the spring when I did their first family session with me. I fell in LOVE with little Miss Emmie, she is SOOOO cute and SOOOO sweet. (I even got a kiss this session) This is such a loving family, and I don't mean just Bethany and Aaron, but also their parents, you taught them well. :) This session was so much fun from Bethany's Dad boob grabbing her mom, I'm glad y'all still got it in ya, I'm impressed :) Aaron, not being able to mean mug me without laughing, I am telling y'all I must be beyond funny looking. hehehehe I look forward to working with y'all in the future and continuing to watch Miss Emmie grow :)

Boudoir Sessions Nov 17th l Short Pump, Va Women's Photographer

Here is the blog so many have been waiting for today. :)

I have had so many ladies interested in doing these boudoir sessions, and it is beyond an honor for me to photograph all of you beautiful ladies. For many that follow my Facebook page know that I am all for women empowerment and helping women feel comfortable in their own bodies and letting them see how amazingly beautiful they are in their own bodies. Don't be ashamed of your curves ladies, learn to own them! I don't discriminate against full figured ladies, I want you to embrace you body, learn you LOVE it! 

Boudoir sessions: $250; 1 hour in front of camera, hair/makeup, DVD of images with printing release, your choice of 5x5 photo book or a 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas.

These sessions will be at the HYATT in Short Pump, Va Address 11800 West Broad Street Henrico, Virginia 23233 (by Short Pump Town Center)

To answer a few questions in advance:
Do you provide outfits? No, because we are all shapes and sizes and in all reality no woman is going to want to borrow another woman's undies. NOW, I will have a few corsets, and heels ladies are welcome to borrow.
Can I bring props? I sure can, I will bring quite a few, including the Christmas ones. :)
Will we provide fake eye lashes? We sure will.
Will we have refreshments? We sure will :)

Hurt Wedding 10.20.12 l Amelia, Va Wedding Photographer

It was such a pleasure to catch up with Shannon again and work with her and Travis. Boy did they have quite the wedding planning experience, and not in the best way, but the wedding was PERFECT and they were both STUNNING!! Through every hiccup in their journey, you can see the love between them and their families, and how happy they were with the turn out of their day.

Their engagements were so much fun, and I got to learn the property prior to the wedding date, which is always great for a photographer. A few weeks later we did Shannon's bridal portraits at the same location, and we missed the rain, but overcast is always perfect for portraits. Shortly after her bridals there was a few bad days of storms and quite a few trees had fallen at the wedding site. Now come the wedding day, you couldn't even tell. :)

Weddings must be turning me into quite a sap. I become so attached to all of my wedding couples, I am so excited for them and to be a part of their, I catch myself tearing up, smiling beyond words editing their pictures, and not being able to stop editing because I am so excited for them to see them.

Shannon & Travis I loved capturing your love for one another, and getting to know you both as a couple. I wish you the best of luck and all the love in the world, heaven knows you and your family deserve it. :) I am glad myself or Katelyn didn't get taken out by walnuts during the ceremony, and I want to say a huge thank you for the wedding party for being team players during pictures as well. :)
